The glass is key. An exploded chandelier in over 1,500pieces, coagulating and suspending above the Hotel Restaurant, forms a cloud. This unifies inside and out, transforming spaces. Our goal: unify loosely related spaces, introduce craft, detail, and an organic softness to the realm of cobblestones, brick, and beams. To reconcile old elegance with contemporary energy. And to gift guests with a flash of recognition from The Landing's cellar.
We sketched and modelled glass petals, armatures, and light sources. Mapped them into clusters, clusters into a cloud, and cloud into space. Collaborating with artisans, a shared language emerged. They made it. We hung it. And it made a place.
