House by Basque Park

The house makes use of a small, inner city site created by land fill and city park construction. A high precast concrete wall was erected to form a southern boundary and to suggest the incorporation of the park immediately to the north as part of the site.  The house is organised as a single living volume with an upper sleeping mezzanine screened by full height sliding shutters.
